Our Mission
We are on a mission to make more and more people knowledgeable in Sanskrit by helping the curious ones in their journey from beginner to advanced levels. Eventually, the goal is for them to be able to understand Sanskrit literature directly.
We strive to train and develop experts in Sanskrit, who can take the baton of Sanskrit knowledge forward to future generations. As a part of this, we will also help people with curiosity answer their queries about the Sanskrit language. With more knowledge about the language, we envision that people will be able to understand Sanskrit literature and not fall prey to false interpretations.
Our Path
- Teach the Sanskrit language with a focus on depth and rigour in basic concepts and take the learner to an effective advanced level
- Revive the traditional culture of spreading knowledge (ज्ञान) through the medium of Gurukul learning system
- Publish rare manuscripts and educational content to bring the rich literary heritage of Sanskrit to everyone
- Reach as many people as possible by using online media to provide classes, consultation and guidance
Our Story
Sanskrit Seva Foundation was established by two schoolmates, Dr Rohan Kulkarni who is a Sanskrit scholar and Nachiket Kakatkar, a programmer. The objective of the organisation is providing greater access to learning Sanskrit via traditional methods of teaching. Combining the knowledge from their respective fields in the way of अन्धपङ्गुन्याय the Sanskrit Seva Foundation(SSF) was founded in October 2022.
